The paper mainly studies on rebuilding of heat recovery steam generator and corresponding rebuilding calculation and analysis. Acrylonitrile planting produces waste liquor, which involves much poison and polluted matter. In order to reduce environment pollution, they must be burned in liquid waste incinerator. But burned high temperature flue gas involves great calorific power, which can be recovered by heat recovery steam generator(HRSG) to prevent pollution and generate 1.0MPa stream. There is an unexpected case stopping HRSG regular working that is heavy slag in tubes. And we must find the corresponding solution and rebuild original HRSG Based on the reason of slug for original fire tube heat recovery steam generator used in liquid waste incinerator of acrylonitrile planting, the paper puts forward the project of rebuilding that creatively consists of crust block tubes, finned tubes and three inspection entryways, uses thermal method to calculate slag period, finds operation period to extend two months, makes the technique economic analysis and proves the project to be feasible, the economic benefit of which is notable.
