Catalysis on coal combustion of industrial wastes with ferrum compositions

In order to reduce the ignition temperature and promote the burnout efficiency of anthracite, the catalysis effects of four industrial wastes with ferrum compositions are studied on a thermo-gravimetric analyzer. When "ferrum mud" mainly composed of γ -Fe_2O_3 is added into Jincheng coal, the ignition temperature is decreased from 582℃ to 569℃. But adding "iron residue" mainly composed of Fe_3O_4 and FeO only decreases the ignition temperature down to 573℃. On the other hand, "Baoshan steel residue" gives a largest promotion from 91.83% to 94.54% in the burnout efficiency of fixed carbon, while others give little effect.
