As superfine pulverized coal reburning technology is one of the most promising methods for NO_x reduction, the influencing factors of superfine pulverized coal reburning technology on NO_x emission have been experimentally studied. The research results show that when any kind of coal is used as the primary fuel, a remarkable NO_x reduction efficiency has been obtained by superfine pulverized coal reburning technology. Longkou lignite and Shenfu bituminite with high volatile are good reburning fuels. The optimum reburning load increase with the increasing of coal rank of the returning fuel. The optimum value of reburning load is 20% for Longkou lignite, 25% for Shenfu bituminous. NO_x reduction efficiency increases with the diminishing of reburning fuel particle size. Compared with conventional coal reburning, superfine pulverized coal reburning has a higher NO_x reduction efficiency, as much as 70% when the optimum particle size of reburning fuel is 20μm. The higher the temperature of reburning zone is, the higher NO_x reduction efficiency will be, while the temperature range is below 1200℃.
