摘要

A two-dimensional model describing the combustion process in a CFB boiler furnace is developed. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) studies are adopted for the hydrodynamics, using the Euler-Euler approach and the kinetic theory of granular flow, coupled with the simplified combustion and heat transfer mechanisms. Some primary results are obtained and discussed.
