From above simulation analyses, it can be concluded: l) The particle mass composition of the dense bed is the key factor which determines the entraining rate and moreover the temperature level and profile of the main combustion chamber; 2) The temperature state of the main combustion chamber can not be always improved by increasing the mass fraction of fine particles in the feeding coal; 3) Low separator efficiency is the primary reason for the abnormal operation of the existing Chinese domestic CFBC boilers; 4) Developing high efficiency separator is of the first importance for the development of CFBC boilers in China.
