摘要

Epoxy resin floor coatings to be applied onto concrete substrate is liable to be subjected to influence of excessive moisture contained in concrete, bringing about creation of blisters. It is to be understood that creation of the blisters is due to fracture of the adhesion of the coatings onto the concrete substrate. Taking up, in this study , cement paste plates as substrate, observation was made with the substratum factors which are to exercise influence on the adhesion strength applied between the epoxy resin floor coatings and the cement substrate from a view point of interfacial chemistry. It is finally made plain that in increasing the adhesion between the coatings and the substrate, it is effective for the polar component of the substrate to be made greater. Desirable condition to improve adhesion strength between epoxy resin coatings and cement paste substrate was finally proposed.
