OPERABLE FACADES AND OCCUPANT RESPONSES

摘要

Operable facades are increasingly being used in conjunction with free running naturally ventilated buildings and mixed mode operating systems. The occupant response to the operation of these facades reflects on the perceived productivity of the tenants. Some designs have failed to deliver an appropriate degree of control of these innovative systems. This paper discusses some of these shortcomings and methods available to overcome them.
