CLADDING PERFORMANCE DURING THE FORT WORTH TORNADO, 28 MARCH 2000

In the early evening of 28 March 2000, an F1/F2 tornado passed through downtown Fort Worth, Texas causing approximately $500M in damage. Removal of fractured glass from damaged high-rise buildings closed portions of the downtown area for over a week. This paper discusses the sources, paths, and impact of debris on a range of buildings from low-rise industrial to high-rise commercial.
