摘要

On the basis of the continuum theory of Ericksen and Leslie for the motion, the balance equations of the bulk motion for the HAN cell are derived analytically. The surface torque balance equation be given by Grzegorz Derfel and Barbara Gajewska for the weak anchoring condition, we used the surface viscosity gamma _s which is measured in [Liquid Crystals, 1995, Vol.19, No.2, p169-178]. We solved the equations for the orientation of the director and the flow velocity in x direction by mean of the hidden format method.
