摘要

Some experiences of making high performance concrete (HPC) for Beijing Oriental Plaza were introduced. In order to prevent alkali-aggregate reaction, some measures were taken, such as, using raw materials with low alkali content, controlling the total alkali content in concrete within 3 kg/m~3, testing alkali reactivity of aggregates and reducing the alkali reactivity by using fly ash. The requirements for the concrete applied in different parts of structure are different. Methods were adopted to make shrinkage compensation concrete, freezing-thawing resistant concrete and permeation resistant concrete.
