摘要

This paper studied the textural and microstructural features of the granitic artificial aggregates used for Three Gorges Project Dam by means of polarization microscope, scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. The results showed that there are some correlations between the alkali reactivity and the strained quartz with undulatory extinction and porphyritic extinction and the bigger dislocation density. The dislocation density measured by TEM may be an indicator of alkali reactivity of aggregates.
