Report on Using Ground Water for Upland Crop Irrigation in Vietnam

In recent year, in the development of country, upland crop development in sand dune areas in the middle coastal is getting common and have a lot of successes. Practice showed that groundwater utility for upland irrigation is effective and economic, help improving standard of living of farmers in region. However, using ground water for irrigation must be considerably planned, calculated, managed and protected to prevent pollution and exhaustion of water sources./.
