A Case Study for Rot of CSP: Processing Parameters and Thermal Profile of ZJ510L Steel Strip

According to industrial runout table layout of CSP hot rolling mill at Zhujiang Iron and Steel Company, thermal models had been developed, which had been applied to simulate the whole thermal process of ZJ510L steel strip during accelerated cooling in the mill. The predicted thermal data was verified against industrial measurement and it had shown that the prediction accuracy of developed thermal models is acceptable and reasonable. The developed models are very helpful to improve the product quality and to optimize processing parameters during rolling operation.
