The production of Chitosan Fiber Spunlacing Nonwovens and Its Antibacterial Property

摘要

Firstly, the origin and properties of chitosan are briefly introduced in the paper, then two types of chitosanrnfiber spunlacing nonwovens( one kind of 100% chitosan fibers, the other of 50% chitosan fibers) were trialrnproduced. During the process, some factors influencing the production were discussed. After that, thernantibacterial property tests were made in the lab which show that the chitosan fiber spunlacing nonwovensrnhave good bacteria repellency. Surely, the chitosan fiber spunlacing nonwovens developed in the paperrnhave good uses in medical areas, such as artificial skin and medical dressings.
