摘要

Static indentation and impact tests were conducted on thin plain and stiffened CFRP panels. The results show that the impact perforation threshold energy may be estimated from the work done by the indentor during a static indentation test. A normalised delamination map based on the impact perforation threshold energy indicates that both plain and stiffened panels have similar damage profiles. A means of predicting the behaviour of large panels based on laboratory-scale tests is suggested.
