RESEARCH ON THE SELECTION TECHNIQUE OF LUBRICATING OIL IN RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS

The paper analyses the operating characteristics of various friction couples in a reciprocating compressor. Different requirments of compressors for lubricating oil are discussed. According to the results of mathematic simulations and experiments, a classification table of operating duty for various reciprocating compressors are put forward. From this, the load grade of the oil used in a compressor is determined, and, viscosity selection tables of compressor oil are also given.
