Small Scale Technology in Primary Production and Environment

摘要

The Victorian State Government in Australia has become actively involved in promoting small scale technologies throughout the State. Micro and nano technologies are becoming increasingly important in the areas of primary production and environmental management with specialised applications in areas as diverse as animal husbandry and disease management in vineyards. Several programs have been underway within the Department of Primary Industry aimed at increasing awareness and promoting uptake of the technology, i.e. stimulating the commercialisation process.
