New Technology for Accurate Weighing and Feeding of Pulverized Coal, Pet Coke, and Other Additives in Cement Plant Applications

A new technology has been developed to meet today's challenging process demands for reliable measurement and feed rate control of Pulverized Coal, Pet Coke, and other Additives in Cement Plant Applications. This technology, which utilizes the Coriolis force principle, provides real-time in-line measurement and control and is insensitive to changes in material properties. It is simple to apply to existing and new process applications, and is virtually maintenance-free. This paper will describe the technology and how it was applied at various plants resulting in improved kiln performance and product quality, higher yield, and reduced waste.
