A New Seismic Explosive with a Low Velocity of Detonation

摘要

A new type of seismic explosive with a low velocity of detonation (1800-2000 m·s~(-1)) is introduced. The explosive does not contain any single detonating explosive which ensure it safety and no harm to the users and used environment. The velocity of detonation of this explosive can be adjusted in a broad range. The formulation of the seismic explosive is discussed and its data of explosion characteristics is also given. The seismic explosive has been proved to be a good seismic source in the seismic exploration of coalfields.
