The report presents the results of studies of the influence of different types of FACTS devices and transformer on-load tap changers (OLTC) installed in the transmission grids on the redistribution of reactive power flows and total power losses. Software package 'RastrWin 3' was used for calculations. All calculations were carried out on the model of the United Energy System (UES) of Russia (110-500 kV networks) for two typical modes: winter maximum and summer minimum of 2016.
