In 2002 the German Aerospace Centre (DLR)performed a measurement campaign of the landmobile multipath channel. From this data we deriveda channel model that is synthesising the measuredchannel impulse response. It allows the realisticsimulation of the multipath channel by approximatingevery single reflection. This model includes timevariant reflectors approaching and receding independency of the azimuth and elevation of thesatellite. All the signal processing had been realisedindependently of the transmitted signal. Therefore theusability for both, navigation systems (GPS as well asGALILEO) and wideband communication systems isgiven.
