Through the measurement to the shrinkage of 16 groups with 66 specimens of ready-mixed concrete which cubic strength is from 27.5MPa to 74.3MPa and its curing age is from 1 day to 180 days, the main factors affecting the shrinkage of ready mixed concrete such as the curing age, the compressive strength of concrete, the air relative humidity, the dimensions of specimen, the steel ratio and admixtures are discussed in detail. The formulas evaluating the shrinkage of ready-mixed concrete at different curing age are suggested, the calculated results show a good agreement with the tested results, and the coefficients affecting the shrinkage in the formulas are simply, and change continually.
