摘要

The time dependence of ion flux of a vacuum discharge with nanosecond temporal resolution. A multichannel energy-mass analyser was used. The results obtained represents a set of waveforms: Arc current, Arc voltage, and several waveforms with fixed Energy-to-charge and mass-to charge ratios. The measurements reveal that ion flux represents a combination of elementary pulses. The durations of elementary pulses are 10-30ns. These pulses form series of pulses and super pulses with durations of 100-150ns. The super-pulses appearance usually precedes the discharge current instabilities or discharge chopping. Fourier amplitude spectra dependence is close to Fourier spectra dependence of Brownian random process.
