Joint Control of Looper Electric Drive of Finishing Mill Group and Active Energy Filter

In the article the way of joint control over an electric drive of an electromechanical looper of a finishing group of a hot rolling mill and active energy filter is described. The considered way, on the one hand, concerns the work of automatic system control of a tension of a strip constructed by the indirect principle, and on the other hand, generates a reference signal for the compensation current of the active filter, thereby reducing delays and errors when calculating the reference signal for the filter current.
