This paper presents a fifth-order analytical solution for the threedimensionalfully reflected short-crested waves through a perturbationtechnique. The present solution derived for short-crested waves can bereduced to both standing waves and progressive waves (with zero andninety degree of incident waves). Three variables for short-crestedwaves, the velocity potential (φ), wave frequency (ω) and wave profile(η) are derived. Numerical results demonstrate the influences of thehigher-order components on the kinematics properties of short-crestedwaves are greater especially in shallow water.
