Shear Characteristics of Undisturbed and Remolded Peat Consolidated under Cyclic Loading

摘要

A series of test simulating repeated loading due to the change ofgroundwater level and traffic load on the peat deposit is performed withstress condition of anisotropic consolidation and swelling. Afteranisotropic consolidation under cyclic loading for undisturbed andremolded peat, the effect of cyclic consolidation history on the shearcharacteristics is examined under undrained triaxial compression test.
