摘要

This paper presents a design and comparative study of backstepping and adaptive nonlinear control for variable wind speed energy conversion system based on a permanent magnets synchronous generator. The adaptive Backstepping control is applied in order to extract the maximum energy from wind by the high tracking performance of speed control. The main contribution of this control is the robustness against the uncertainties of system parameters such as the stator resistance, the rotor flux linkage and load torque. The convergence of variable states is assured by Lyapunov function. To verify the feasibility of the proposed controls, simulations are carried out in Simulink to compare the performances of each controller.
