Interactive Web-based Noise Modelling

摘要

Current noise modelling, GIS and web server technologies are now sufficiently robust and mature to allow for development of web-based systems capable of delivering noise-modellingfunctions to a distributed group of users. Whilst delivery of this kind of web-based system obviously requires careful consideration of issues such as end user education, it also has many potential advantages including enabling enforcement of a consistent modelling approach between users, improved management of the model data inventory, team working in a distributed enterprise and potentially a reduction in costs. This paper describes an Interactive Web-based Noise Model being built using ASP.NET, LimA noise mapping software and GeoSamba GIS map server technologies.
