Most lectures are generally conducted in a knowledge-transfer form from teachers to learners. Since the learners become passive and the dialogue between the teachers and the learners tends to be lost, the quality of learning deteriorates. This problem can be solved by incorporating learnercentered group work in the lecture. So far, there was a problem in grouping. That is, it was difficult to create discussions leading to new ideas if the learners with similar characteristics are selected to form a group. In this study, we propose a method that makes pairs of learners for group work in consideration of the characteristics of the artifacts created by the learners. We also conducted an evaluation experiment and found that our method activates the discussion between each pair of learners and improves their understanding.
