摘要

Rainy season increases the occurrence of attenuation in signal in WDM system which directly reduces the Q factor of the communication. For this purpose Single Sliced-WDM (SS-WDM) communication system was developed and found to be less efficient to handle the attenuation in case of rain in different seasons. A Multibeam WDM communication system is developed to handle the variations in attenuation during rainy season whether in summer, winter, spring or autumn. This is done by replacing the single FSO channel with multiple FSO communication channels that make the multi-beam WDM system to retain the high Q factor even having variations in attenuation. The analyses are done in MATLAB and Simulink. The Q factor of Multi-beam WDM communication system is prior than the SS-WDM communication system.
