摘要

In this paper,a heat exchanger with U-shape fin plates for gas-gas energy exchange was introduced.This exchanger has many characters such as large heat interchanging area per unit volume,compact structure,high heat transfer efficiency,less flow resistance loss,low cost of investment,etc.The flow fields of different size of U-shaped fins with were simulated by Fluent.The surface turbulence intensity and the pressure distributions were analysed,and then the optimum performance of exchanger was obtained.The results indicted that heat transfer efficiency and pressure loss are determined by height,thickness,width,and interspacing of this U-shaped fin on the heat exchanger plates.
