The structural stochasticity of unidirectional composites is caused by randomness of the shape,relative arrangement and orientation of fibres and the scatter of their diameters.The principles ofconstructing algorithms for the computer generation of random-structure glass-epoxi plastics wereformulated,the maximal void fractions of fibres were defined and the effects of self-organizationand self-regularization were detected and explained.Applying a correlation analysis to the unidirectionalfibre-reinforced random-structure composites created new criteria for determining thecharacteristic size of the representative volume element with account of the multi-particle interactionin the system of reinforcement aggregates.A nonlinear two-level structurally phenomenologicalmodel of damaged glass-epoxi plastics was presented.
