Research on the measurement of the permittivity by cylinder cavity with dumbbell-sized slots on its port-cover

摘要

The paper presents the measurement of the relative permittivity, conductivity of medium as well as minority carrier lifetime of semi-conductor by using TE_(011)-mode circular cavity with a couple of symmetry dumbbell-sized slots on its port-cover. The problem about how to measure the permittivity of low loss medium is focused on. We bring forward a kind of approximately calculating method, from which we can get a quite good agreement beteween the measured and the recognized values.
