摘要

Vehicle delay, stopping times, queuing length and API are selected as theevaluation vectors and a comprehensive AHP evaluation model is proposed to assessthe constructed signal control method. Typical arterials are chosen to conduct thesimulation tests by VISSUM, including Beixin Str. for passenger transport arterial,West Liaohe Rd. for freight transport arterial and Xuefu Rd. for mixed transportarterial. Comparison is done between the normal signal control method and theproposed one. The simulation result shows that the proposed signal method candecrease the vehicle delay and improve the average velocity significantly.
