摘要

The present work is a study of the effect of sintering condition on the density, hardness and tribological behavior of aCu-Fe-C based material sliding against FC30 steel. Experimental results show that the sintered integrity of the alloy is moresensitive to heating rate than compaction pressure. The green density of the alloy is not sensitive to compaction pressurewithin the pressure range used in this study. The density of the alloys sintered at higher heating rate is lower than thatsintered at lower heating rate. The green hardness of the alloys compacted under higher pressure is higher than thatcompacted under lower pressure. The alloy compacted under higher pressure and sintered at higher heating rate shows ahigher COF value and larger weight loss than those sintered at lower heating rate and compacted either under higherpressure or under lower pressure.
