Unexpected infrastructural needs in peak load management make small and medium business organization situations difficult to handle. These needs increase the setup cost of infrastructure over small and medium enterprises unbearably. Even resource utilization is not optimized because peak loads are rare in small and medium enterprises. Maintaining infrastructure as fault tolerant and available with high uptime is an overhead to handle. Cloud computing can be considered a solution to such problems for these small and medium enterprises as it provides services such as software, platform and infrastructure as utility computing. Therefore, companies can easily rely on the cloud for their infrastructural needs without any hassle. Resource optimization in the cloud depends on virtualization technology to enable multi-tenancy, as multi-tenancy enables several VMs to share the same physical space. However, though it optimizes resource utilization it raises several security for cloud service providers. If these questions are not answered properly then it may become a hurdle for cloud technology adoption. In this paper we propose a solution model for the disc contention problem by cotenant covert channel. These bypassing routes without user intervention leak the user data. Our model, split first encryption next (SFEN), will address how to mitigate this problem in lazy and immature cloud service providers. It isolates data storage from conflict cotenant by splitting and storing it in multiple places with encryption. Observations discussed in this paper provide satisfactory results.
