This paper addresses reuse, which is one of the most important goals in software development.rnMore specifically, the topic of high level reuse is in more interest. Frameworks are consideredrnthe highest level of reuse, because not only could they program codes, but also the design isrncapable of being reused. Although frameworks consist of the highest level of reuse, therndevelopment and application of frameworks are extremely difficult and costly. The work putrninto the development and application of frameworks was a result of the cooperation betweenrnCorporate Research and Development of Siemens AG, Munich, Germany and the TechnicalrnUniversity of Ilmenau, Germany.
