DEVELOPMENT OF LIFE ORIGINATED PRODUCT DESIGN SYSTEM

摘要

Based on two fundamental assumptions about designrnrequirements and artifacts, a new design principle of Life-rnOriginated-Design (LORD) is derived, which aims atrnexploring a new path to operable design process andrnautomation tool with full use of creative and innovativernintelligence of living systems, including Non-BrainrnIntelligence, for product design. The overall framework isrnintroduced for the Life Originated Product Design system,rnand its implementation is discussed in detail withrnemphasis on customer requirements (classificationrnprinciples and processing) module, growth design modulernand product genetic engineering module. Designrnapplication shows good operability and high efficiency ofrnthe system.
