The basics on metadata and repository technologies and analysis the advantages and merits of their advantages in developing new resource systems are discussed in detail, and a shared repository architecture is proposed for management of metadata. Modeling and Simulation Resource Repository system has been developed by applying the metadata and repository technologies are applied.
