Prioritizing Traffic by Adding Priority Code in NDN Data Packet

As an example of Information CentricNetworking (ICN), Named Data Networking (NDN) isnow being proposed to be the new architecture offuture Internet, allowing consumers to get data at thenearest place. To support the transmission of variousand huge amount of data, QoS is needed in sucharchitecture to prioritize data when congestion happens.In this paper we propose a basic way to prioritize datatransmission by adding priority code into data packetso that when routers need to drop excessive data due tocongestion, data with high priority can be kept andforwarded.
