摘要

The stability is considered as one of the important issues for reliable operation of power system. To analyze the stability of the DC system, different kind of factor should be considered from AC system. In conventional AC system, stability is analyzed mainly on angle and voltage while DC system stability is analyzed only on voltage because there is no phase angle. Furthermore, new concept of stability in DC system is discussed with respect to Constant Power Load (CPL) characteristic of power electronic converter. Therefore, in this paper, comparative analysis of stability problem between AC and DC power system is performed.
