Turbo flotation column with enhanced flotation performance

摘要

This paper deals with Multotec's latest innovative flotation process known as `Turbo' flotation column. Existing flotation columns available on the market are discussed with their strengths and weaknesses, after which the `Turbo' flotation column is explained. The paper also reveals results of pilot plant tests conducted in Turkey at Ber Oner's Ergani Copper plant as well as Black Sea Copper Works. The performance of Industrial Scale `Turbo' Columns are also investigated.
