The panel will provide an overview of the environmental issues that are evolving throughout thernworld. Representatives from several continents will reflect on the impacts of environmental challenges in their regions and the ways that systems engineering may be changing the manner in which environmental issues are being addressed. The panel will also enumerate and describe the technical, economic, social, and legal issues pertaining to the deployment of systems engineering applications to resolve environmental problems. The panel will offer suggestions of systems approaches to the resolution of these global issues.
