This research presents an integer programming model that integrates repair time standards stored in a maintenancerninformation system with scheduling techniques to maximize efficiency in transit environments. Although thernliterature presents several studies in the field of maintenance scheduling and time standards, it stops short inrncombining these approaches. The presented model optimizes the allocation of jobs and determines the bestrnworkforce for each task. It was validated using data and standards from three transit facilities in Florida. Reductionrnof operational costs, increased bus reliability, and effectiveness in the tasks executed demonstrate that the studyrnaggregates value to transit organizations.
