摘要

The aim of this study was to quantify the effect of laterally slanted ground surfaces on biomechanical responses. Tenrnsubjects performed lifting tasks (using a 40% of max load) on a platform laterally tilted at 0, 10, 20 and 30 degreesrnfrom horizontal, where whole body kinematics was collected and was later used in a dynamic biomechanical modelrnto calculate time-dependent moments about L5/S1 and time-dependent lateral forces acting on body segments. Thernresults showed a consistent reduction (9%) in the peak L5/S1 moment and an increase (111%) in the instabilityrnproducing lateral forces with increasing slant angle.
