Coherent wired/wireless seamless transmission with combination of photonic digital and analogue techniques

Digital coherent detection and radio-over-fiber technologies allow the realization of direct seamless conversion between optical and radio networks. We propose a photonic dig- ital transmission with analogue signal synthesis technique to provide high-speed simultaneous transmissions.
