Transformers are the most important piece of equipment in a power system; therefore, avoiding failure is crucial. One method of avoiding transformer failure is to use dissolved gas analysis techniques (DGA) as an initial form of fault detection. The gases generated in the transformer originate in thermal and electrical stresses, and insulation degradation. There are several methods for analyzing gas in oil-immersed. To get accurate result from those available methods, the dissolved gas analysis program using Visual Studio is presented in this paper. This DGA program can analyze mineral oil and load tap changers (LTC) through main methods such as key gas, ratio and graphical methods. All methods are based on IEC 60599-2015 and IEEE C57.104-2008 except the Duval pentagon method, which has been introduced. In addition, the created program can store transformer analysis data as the database, show trend graph of gas change in each gas and make the conclusion report. The program is verified by comparing analyzing result with commercial program. It shows that the created program works well similarly to those analyzed by the commercial program.
