摘要

In order to heating tumor tissue uniformly for a long time, a novel alternately heating method using interstitial antenna made from peeling outer conductor with cable sleeve of a standard coaxial was developed, the process was as follows: durative heating firstly, then alternate between heating and pause. Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method and Finite Difference Melhod (FDM) are used to calculate the electromagnetic field and analyze the temperature distribution in tumor tissue, respectively. The simulation results show that the long-time uniform hyperthermia was achieved using alternately heating. Uniform hyperthermia area and temperature can be controlled by adjusting antenna's input power and working duration.
