Wireless channels having dominant multipath fading as channel degradation employs multi carrier mode of communication. Multi carrier signals is known to offer robust protections as compared to single carrier signals on such channels. Automatic modulation classification of multi carrier, M-ary (MFSK) signals were mostly studied by previous researchers under assumption of ideal channel conditions or apriori knowledge of transmission parameters. In this paper we present a multi carrier signal classifier which does not consider both these assumptions. The proposed classifier not only classifies MFSK signals but also used to demodulate the signal to extract baseband symbols. The developed algorithm requires no apriori information about the communication parameters and can perform in noisy and fading channels with high accuracy.
