摘要

A dual-polarized conical dielectric resonator antenna with hybrid feed mechanism is presented. The design for the proposed antenna excitation structure consists of slot fed by a microstrip line and a coplanar waveguide (CPW), providing the orthogonal polarizations. Dual-polarization can be well matched with the common -10dB impedance bandwidth of 1180MHz (24.4%). The overall dimension of the proposed antenna is 50 × 50mm2 with 11mm thickness, including the feed structure. Gains of the two modes arrive at 7.7 and 4 dBi. The proposed antenna provides the valuable dielectric resonator antenna design and shows great value in the fields of multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) system.
